Rockhampton Park

Rockhampton Park hosts a playground and is in the Bear Mountain neighborhood of Langford, B.C. Located on the pea gravel base is a large tower with a staircase and slide. The climb to the tower can be done using the stairs or a spiral pole. A single spinable pole and a tipping wave complete the play area. There are several well placed benches along the concrete that surrounds the playground. This park is partially fenced with a black aluminum fence. There are several trees that provide shade over the benches and grass covered areas in the park. Nicklaus Rockhampton Green Space, Nature’s Gate Park, Nicklaus Park, Navigators Green Space and Miniskirt Park are nearby. Geographic location N48° 28’12” W123°31’40” Rockhampton Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road and turn left onto Bear Mountain Parkway. Continue along BMP to reach Nicklaus Drive. Turn onto Nicklaus Drive and continue along turn right onto Rockhampton Drive. The park is near the turnabout at the end of the road. There is limited roadside parking this area.

Nicklaus Rockhampton Green Space

Nicklaus Rockhampton Green Space is a seventy-five meter long pedestrian access between two roads. Located in the Bear Mountain neighborhood of Langford, B.C., the concrete foot path leads to the small playground called Rockhampton Park. The pathway connects to trails in Nature’s Gate Park which lies across Nicklaus Drive. Rockhampton Park and Nicklaus Park are nearby.

Nicklaus Rockhampton Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road and turn left onto Bear Mountain Parkway. Continue along BMP to reach Nicklaus Drive. Turn onto Nicklaus Drive and continue along and look for pathway on the right as the road continues to climb. There is limited roadside parking this area.
