Porcher Park

Porcher Park is in the downtown area of Langford, B.C. Several tall Douglas fir trees form the second growth forest of the parkland which is completely surrounded by residential homes. The access to the park is limited due to the neighboring fences along the homes of Brock Avenue, Strathmore Road, Wren Place and Scafe Road. Sunderland Peatt Green Space, Arnote Park, Sunderland Deville Green Space, Ruth King Elementary School Green Space and Peatt Green Space are nearby.

Porcher Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road/Veterans Memorial Parkway and head south to reach Goldstream Avenue. Turn right onto Peatt Road then right onto Brock Ave. Make a left onto Scafe Road and then a left onto Wren Place. Unfortunately, the park access is blended into the fence line of 826 Wren and 2732 Scafe Road. There is limited roadside parking this area. City buses travel along Peatt Avenue and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.

Arnote Park

Arnote Park is in the downtown area of Langford, B.C. The park has a playset set on a wood chip base. The twin metal slides can be reached using a variety of ladders, ramps and stairs and poles. A seated spring toy and bench complete the play area. Black chain link fencing surrounds three quarters of the play area. There are several shrubs planted along the western perimeter of the park. Sunderland Peatt Green Space, Arnote Park, Sunderland Deville Green Space, Porcher Park and Peatt Green Space are nearby.

Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road/Veterans Memorial Parkway and head south to reach Goldstream Avenue. Turn right onto Peatt Road then right onto Arncote Avenue. Continue along Arncote Avenue to reach Arncote Place and look for the park on the right. There is limited roadside parking this area. City buses travel along Peatt Road and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.

Sunderland Peatt Green Space

Sunderland Peatt Green Space is in the downtown area of Langford, B.C. This green space forms the eighty meter long pedestrian pathway that connects Sunderland Avenue with Peatt Road. Sunderland Peatt Green Space, Arnote Park, Sunderland Deville Green Space, Porcher Park and Peatt Green Space are nearby.

Peatt Green Space is in the downtown area of Langford, B.C. This green space has a large arbutus tree and small grass covered area next to the paved parking area for commuters. Peatt Fire Hall Green Space

Peatt Rd Fire HallThe Peatt Fire Hall Green Space is in the downtown area of Langford, B.C. This green space hosts the large welcome sign to greet travelers arriving into Langford using Veteran’s Memorial Parkway. There is a small cascading waterfall and pond behind the sign. Located next to Fire Station One there is a life size statue of fireman raising a flag. The flag poles are near of the entrance to the fire hall. Commissioned in 2003 to Derek Rowe, the statue is one of six outdoor art works found in the downtown area of Langford. Sunderland Peatt Green Space, Arnote Park, Sunderland Deville Green Space, Porcher Park and Peatt Green Space are nearby.

Peatt Fire Hall Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road/Veterans Memorial Parkway and head south toward Goldstream Avenue. Turn left onto Peatt Road then right onto Dinan Place where there is a small a parking area. City buses travel along Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.

Danbrook Park

Danbrook Park is in the downtown area of Langford, BC. This landscaped inner city park has a few trees and open grass covered areas surrounded by private homes, housing complexes and commercial buildings. The three thousand square meter parkland has a sixty meter gravel pathway under the tall Douglas fir and Garry oak trees. Cedar hedge trees are grow along the north side of the park. The park is fenced with chain linked fencing and has gates for access from Danbrook Drive and Thomasett Place. A gravel trail to the north of the park leads to Thomassett Place. Veteran’s Memorial Park, Crossroads Park and the Trans Canada Trail– Langford or E&N Rail Trail are nearby.

Danbrook Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road/Veterans Memorial Parkway and head south toward Goldstream Avenue. Turn right onto Larkhall Road and continue as the road curves to become Claude Road. The park is on the left beside the large paved parking area. City buses travel along Goldstream Avenue and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway. This park can also be reached by strolling along the pathway from Thomassett Place from Claude Road. Claude Road can also be accessed from Goldstream Avenue.

Meaford Station Millstream Green Space

Meaford Millstream Green Space is in the downtown area of Langford, B.C. When Millstream Road was altered into a main parkway for the Langford commuter traffic, a small green space was created between the original road and the parkway; called Veteran’s Memorial Parkway. This grass covered knoll between Millstream Road and VMP lies immediately south of Station Road. There are several small street trees including evergreens in this linear park. There is ample parking on the east side of the street. Veteran’s Memorial Park, Crossroads Park, Danbrook Park and the Trans Canada Trail– Langford or E&N Rail Trail are nearby.

Meaford Millstream Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road/Veterans Memorial Parkway and head south to reach Goldstream Avenue.
