The Town of View Royal, BC, has some unique waterfront beach accesses with views of Cole Island, forested areas, watery reefs and the Olympic Mountains of Washington State in the distance. This is one of those amazing places. Norquay Road Green Space is along the waterfront of Price Bay in Esquimalt Harbour in View Royal, B.C. A large cedar trees lies near the end of Norquay Road and marks the access to the view of the water. There is a ten step stair case leads down to the pumping station equipment. The narrow green space is bordered by wood fences of the residential homes on both sides. The thirty three meter descent to a ridge provides a secure viewing area of seabirds enjoying the shallow estuary of Mill Stream.

Norquay Road Green Space can be accessed from the Trans Canada Highway, Hwy1. Exit onto Helmcken Road and turn right onto the Island Highway. Turn left onto Knollwood Road and take the next left onto Gibraltar Bay Road. The park is surrounded by private property in this common subdivision. There is limited roadside parking along Gibraltar Bay Road. City buses travel along the Island Highway.
