Pembroke Street Green Spaces, Victoria, BC

Pembroke Street Green SpaceAlong the junction of Pembroke and Shelbourne streets, in Victoria, B.C., is a series of small odd shaped green spaces with lovely grassy areas under beautiful mature trees. These green spaces are at the curve of Shelbourne Street as it becomes Begbie Street. And, just to keep you aware, the junction of Pembroke Street with Begbie Street is also the junction with Shelbourne and Ashgrove streets which created the space for this grove of trees. There are a variety of trees and several benches to relax at in this green space that may also be known as Begbie Green. Curiously, there is a sign to deter tossing a ball or frisbee which the trees prevent anyway. The short concrete pathways within the green space connect to sidewalks that border the roadways.
