Peter Grant Park

Peter Grant Park is a large natural park near Reay Creek. It borders the Pat Bay Highway yet is buffered by the cottonwood forest. This park is frequented by dog walkers and runners. The trail connects to Reay Creek trails and to Greenglade Community Center trail.

You can get to Peter Grant Park from Pat Bay Highway.  Take the airport exit to Canora/Willingdon Road by curving rightward off the Highway to the series of traffic circles. Exit toward the airport using Canora/Willingdon Road. Once on Canora Road follow the road as it  curves right at the junction to stay on Canora Road.  Summergate Blouevard is about a block further to the right. Follow Summergate Blvd to the bridge across Reay Creek. There is some street parking on Summergate Blvd near the creek. Follow the creek trail toward the highway noise, eastward. The trails of Reay Creek lead to Peter Grant Park. A bus passes along Canora as it travels through this part of Sidney.
